About this policy

Last updated: Oct, 2026

Bosda International Inc. (“Bosda”, “we”, “us”) develops and supplies wheel-end parts from Aurora, Ontario. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

This website collects personal information when you send it to us through one of our forms and, if you agree, through Google Analytics, which measures how the site is used. We don’t offer user accounts, sell online or take payments on this site.

This policy covers this website. If you become a Bosda customer or supplier, information exchanged as part of that relationship is handled separately.

Information we collect

When you fill in a form on this site, such as a contact, pricing or part request, we collect what you enter:

Please don’t include sensitive personal information, such as financial or health details, in a form. We don’t need it to answer you.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when the site is visited, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These server logs are used to keep the site secure and running. We don’t use them to identify or profile visitors.

If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also collects information about your visit, such as the pages you view and your approximate location. See Cookies and analytics for details.

This website is intended for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

How we use your information

We use the information you send us to:

We don’t use it for any other purpose without asking you first. We won’t add you to a mailing list or send you marketing emails unless you agree to receive them, and every marketing email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.

We use Google Analytics reports to see which pages and products people look at and to improve the site. We don’t use them to identify you or to target advertising.

When you submit a form, you agree that we may use the information you provide for the purposes above, including storing it with the service providers described below.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting our Privacy Officer. We will then stop using your information and delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it. If you withdraw consent before we’ve answered your request, we may not be able to complete it.

Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change that choice at any time. See Cookies and analytics.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only:

Storage outside Canada

Our website host, Google and other service providers may store or process your information outside Canada, including in the United States. While it is there, it is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessed by its courts, law enforcement and national security authorities. We use contracts and other measures to require a level of protection comparable to what you would receive in Canada.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages and products are viewed most. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Google Analytics runs only if you accept.

Google processes this data on its servers, including in the United States. Google explains its practices in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

The site also uses a small amount of browser storage that it needs to work, for example to remember your cookie choice or that you closed a pop-up. This storage doesn’t identify you.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and related emails for up to two years after our last contact with you, then delete them. If your request leads to a business relationship, we keep the relevant information for as long as that relationship continues and afterwards for as long as the law requires, for example for tax records.

Our host keeps server logs for a limited period for security purposes, then deletes them.

Google Analytics deletes visit-level data after 14 months, as described under Cookies and analytics.

How we protect it

No method of sending or storing information is completely secure. If a breach of our safeguards creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

Send your request to our Privacy Officer. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We will respond within 30 days, and there is no charge. If we can’t fulfil a request, we will tell you why, unless the law prevents us.

If you live in Quebec, you also have rights under Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector. These include the right to receive the personal information you gave us in a structured, commonly used technological format, or have it sent to another organization. Before we transfer personal information about Quebec residents outside Quebec, we assess whether it will be adequately protected.
